Bullying effects individuals, homes and communities. Let's break the cycle. Learn how through our innovative and interactive Bully Stoppers program we are bringing families and communities together to understand what bullying is and what it is not. This is one of our youth and family services, working with schools and organizations to make a difference.
Thanks to everyone who attended Saturdays workshop. Some of the takeaways were:
Thanks to our sponsors Holman HQ, The Cohen Law Firm, Amir Khan founder of New Beginnings Behavioral Health, Boys & Girls Club of Camden County, Lawnside PTA, George-Vanten (the brothers) and our own Kings Way International.
Coach Norman Alston talked about Bullying and the impact on families to the teams and those in attendance. We handed out our Bully Stoppers bags donated by 4Imprint to remind them that we all can break the cycle of bullying. We look forward to next year.
As the communities of Marlton, Palmyra, Cinnaminson, Riverton came out for their respective events we engaged with all ages educating them on how one act of bullying can move to violent acts if not addressed; the mental impact on a person being bullied, why a person may be bulling others and how that can impact a family and community.

We come from different backgrounds, with different experiences. We have the capacity to learn from one another and through those experiences. Communities are made up of families and those families individual people. When people are hurting, families and communities are hurting. When people thrive, families and communities thrive.
We strive to reach the individual first then the rest will follow.

The South Jersey newspaper Courier Post shared this exciting article about the author, the process and the impact "My Bully, My Friend" had on the students.
Each fourth grader looked up from their laptops with smiles when Coach Norm opened the door and walked into the bare summer-school classroom.
All eyes were on the coach — Norman Alston — as he, a larger-than-life character to a four-foot tall fourth-grader, rolled a chair up to the smaller-than-normal table made for elementary schoolers. Check out the full article here. If you would like to purchase the book click Order Today.
